Ironically I have and I see it more as a treat for the senses, for the eye's and the ears. Its a shame we couldn't feel or taste the experience that we viewed, because in that way the moment of film that we saw, for it was a moment not a narrative, would be one hell of an experience.
Weirdly it reminds me of the background of one scene from Willy Wonka (the original), the canal scene in which Gene Wilder cites some poem and baffling images and sound are thrust not only at the audience but also the characters within. All good fun.
